1st National Youth Interfaith Forum - 8 March 2008

The 1st National Youth Interfaith Forum was organised by a team in Wellington. The Forum was held in the Wellington City Council Chambers on Saturday 8 March 2008. More than 60 youth from around the country participated. There were youth from Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

 In the Maori calendar it is known as Poututerangi, when the crops are dug up. This was the beginning of the kumara harvest, perhaps the most significant event of the year.
